  • The Antigua Highlights E-Bike Tour is ideal for first-time visitors who want to explore Antigua's historic streets and ride up to the famous Cerro de la Cruz viewpoint.

    The Sunset E-Bike Tour follows a similar route in the late afternoon, combining Antigua's highlights with beautiful golden-hour atmosphere.

    The Cacao E-Bike Tour takes you beyond Antigua to San Juan del Obispo, where you'll visit a cacao museum with a small tasting, explore the Parque Central and historic church, and enjoy beautiful views over Antigua.

  • No previous e-bike experience is required, and our tours are designed to be enjoyable rather than physically demanding. The electric assistance makes hills and longer stretches much easier, including the climb toward Cerro de la Cruz.

    You should, however, be comfortable and confident riding a regular bicycle. Before departure, your guide will explain how to use the e-bike and provide a safety briefing so you feel comfortable before setting off.

  • Our e-bike tours are designed to be enjoyable rather than physically demanding. Electric assistance makes hills and longer stretches much easier, including the climb toward Cerro de la Cruz.

    You don't need to be an experienced cyclist or particularly fit, but you should be comfortable riding a bicycle.

  • Safety is a priority on every GuateRide tour. Helmets are provided, and your guide will explain how to operate the e-bike and provide safety instructions before departure.

    Antigua has cobblestone streets and regular traffic, so guests should be confident riding a bicycle and follow the guide's instructions throughout the tour.

  • The minimum age to ride one of our e-bikes is 15 years old. All participants must be able to ride a bicycle confidently and safely.

  • The Cacao E-Bike Tour combines cycling, local culture, and cacao in one experience. You'll ride by e-bike from Antigua to San Juan del Obispo, a charming village overlooking the Antigua Valley.

    The experience includes a visit to a cacao museum with a small cacao tasting, as well as stops at the Parque Central and the village church, where you can enjoy beautiful views over Antigua and the surrounding landscape.

  • Wear comfortable clothes suitable for cycling and comfortable closed-toe shoes. We also recommend bringing enough water, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a light rain jacket depending on the weather.

    Your e-bike and helmet are provided.

  • Weather in Guatemala can change quickly. Tours may still operate in light rain, but if conditions make riding unsafe, GuateRide may cancel the tour.

    If we cancel due to weather, you can reschedule your tour free of charge or receive a full refund.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure to allow enough time for bike setup, helmet fitting, and the safety briefing.

    A Google Maps link can be provided with your booking information.

  • You can cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before your scheduled departure for a full refund.

    Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure are non-refundable. If GuateRide cancels your tour because of unsafe weather conditions, you can reschedule free of charge or receive a full refund.

  • GuateRide tours are available in English and Spanish. Our small groups of up to 6 riders allow for a more personal experience and plenty of interaction with your guide.
